If a dominant person is being arrogant we don't need to teach him/her a lesson. Typically, we avoid confrontation, avoid saying how we really feel, and often tell them what we think they want to hear. We start complaining that the person is insensitive, aggressive, impatient, and arrogant. Instead lets try deal with them.<br /></div><span class="fullpost"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">How to deal with the Domineering people:</span><br /><ol style="text-align: justify;"><li>First of all find out whether the person has problem with you are not.</li><li>Confronting is the best thing to do when the person has the problem with you.</li><li>Lastly you must realize that if he/she just refuses to clear up the matter chances for relationship working are quit slim.</li></ol><span style="font-weight: bold;">Deal with them:</span><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Dealing with dominant people can be very difficult, but its not so much about manging them as it is about managing your own tendencies. The tendency of most of the people is to avoid dominant people and then complain to others. If we had to just ignore things surely they'd just worsen with time<br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Understand them:</span><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">An understanding of how dominant people function will help you gain influence and make it easier to connect with people in both personal and professional situations. All you need to do is act very smartly.  A great sense of understanding matters if you have that, the dominating factor won't come into picture at all.<br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Intimidate them:</span><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The idea is to calmly and firmly speak while making direct eye connect. if he/she react with intimidation you have to stand your ground. You don't need to yell or get upset. Calmly  and firmly speak your mind.<br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Speak to them:</span><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Presenting yourself as a victim often backfires. Most dominant people have little patient with victim hood. Instead of focus on how he has hurt your feelings you would  gain more by clearly speaking your expectations. And surely that will make things better between both of you.</div></span>

"Harishachandrachi Factory" is the second Marathi film after "Shwaas" in 2004 to be selected as India's official entry to the Oscars.<br /></div><span class="fullpost"><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The two-hour-long film depicts the struggle of Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema, to make 'Raja Harishchandra' in 1913, India's first feature film. "The film is totally based on facts. It is the first ever attempt to bring the making of the first feature film made in India on celluloid," Mokashi said.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The nomination of the Marathi film was announced by The Film Federation of India (FFI) and the jury was headed by noted actress Asha Parekh. "Harischandrachi Factory" beat off competition from 15 films including Bollywood movies like "New York" and "Delhi 6" to get selected for the honour.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">"The film was completed in December last year. We plan a grand release all over Maharashtra and rest of the country in Marathi and Hindi with English sub-titles by this year-end," Mokashi told a news agency.Paresh Mokashi, the writer and director of the film was elated on hearing the news. DRL scientists are working on making the grenade with the hot properties of Bhoot Jolokiya.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">DRL scientist R P Srivastava said, "Be it controlling mob violence or flushing out extremists out of their hideouts, the chilly grenade will come in handy without posing a physical danger to the targets," The biggest advantage of the chilly grenade would be its non-lethal nature.<br /><br />The DRDO and World Wildlife Fund are also working on developing a powder from the chilly that could be coated on fences and ropes to scare away wild elephants who create havoc in many parts of the Northeast. The conservationists working on the experimental project had put up jute fences made of strong vegetable fibre and smeared them with the Bhoot Jolokiya powder which kept the elephants away. Straw nests with dry chilly powder was also burnt and the strong pungent smell emitted was successful in keeping elephants at bay.<br /><br />Now the Assam government has undertaken a project to promote cultivation of the chilly which is unique to Nagaland and Assam. The state's agriculture department has directed its Horticulture and Food Processing department to cultivate the variety in select areas.  Agriculture Minister Pramila Rani Brahma said that initially two districts--Golaghat and Baksa - have been selected for cultivating this chilly. Initially, 300 hectares of land will be brought under the cultivation of this chilly as there is a tremendous scope for earning revenue, Brahma said.<br /><br />The Chilly is used as a spice in food or eaten alone for curing stomach ailments and is a remedy for heat. The Guinness Book of World Records has declared the Bhoot Jolokiya as the hottest chilly in 2007.</div></span>

Psychologists Jeffrey Bowers, Sven L. Mattys and Suzanne Gage from the University of Bristol recruited volunteers who were native English speakers but who had learned either Hindi or Zulu as children when living abroad.<br /><br />The researchers focused on Hindi and Zulu because these languages contain certain phonemes that are difficult for native English speakers to recognise. A phoneme is the smallest sound in a language-a group of phonemes forms a word.<br /><br />Scientists asked volunteers to complete a background vocabulary test to see if they remembered any words from the neglected language. They then trained the participants to distinguish between pairs of phonemes that started Hindi or Zulu words.<br /><br />As it turned out, even though the volunteers showed no memory of the second language in the vocabulary test, they were able to quickly relearn and correctly identify phonemes that were spoken in the neglected language.<br /><br />These findings suggest that exposing young children to foreign languages even if they do not continue to speak them can have a lasting impact on speech perception, says a Bristol release. The study authors conclude: "Even if the language is forgotten (or feels this way) after many years of disuse, leftover traces of the early exposure can manifest themselves as an improved ability to relearn the language." for more read Psychological Science Repots.</div></span>
