Although to work as journalists in all these media, the basic qualifications is same, but because of technology associated in creating and presenting these news reports the candidates must be proficient in this art too.<br /></div><span class="fullpost"><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The youth who have the desire to make entry into this changing and challenging era of media the most important they must have is "News Sense". This sense can be developed by just watching the news constantly and Keeping it in mind. Although despite opening media schools and training institutes from all metros to smaller towns the youth is not properly groomed in well mannered.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">After seeing the TV channels Anchor, Reporter, news readers youth want to become like them, but they do not do hard work honestly. That's why they have to wander to get their work to rate. first of all the youth want to come in this field should select the institution that has quality faculty and authentic course. That can provide training to developing their sense of selection. You should also check that is you deserve that course? are these institution providing necessary infrastructure or not? As well as according to today's era there should also present Latest technology.<br /><br />The institutions providing journalism courses should also have to understand the needs of the media industry, so then they can prepare the journalist those  meet the demand of today's era. For this there should be regular interaction between Institute's and the media industry. High Level media institutions not only gave chances of regular interaction with industry, but as most of faculty are the same people who are connected from print or electronic media. So you can also get practical training with theory.<br /><br />Its a unfortunate fact that in Most of the universities in Hindi-speaking areas today journalism education neither have infrastructure nor a suitable faculty. Hindi belt media courses students , should continue to update themselves. Even today, journalism is not the first priority for talented and sharp minded Student. The person who can not be selected anywhere ie. Engineering, medical, IAS, PCS, etc. , comes in this field. Only the young persons having dream of making a career in journalism started for looking good institute where they can get appropriate course immediately after XII examination<br /><br />To become a successful journalist in addition to media-related courses  any young must have three basic properties - That quality of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Reporting</span> means extracting of news, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Desk</span> means making the news special and attractive, and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Networking</span> means make your eyes - and ears open in order to identify potential reports and that you can catch. These properties are necessary for all three print, electronic and web media .<br /><br />If you are interest in the reporting then you should know how to extort information itself, otherwise you can not make the news.So if someone reports within the news sense and understand the quality of information and can extort information, can become a good reporter.<br /><br />If anyone wants to work at the desk he/she should should have good command on the respective language . Recently "CSIR" Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has invited science stream students to apply to receive the eligibility for the post of Lectureship. The last date to apply online is 31 August and exam date is December 19, 2010 . If you are a Engineering graduates you must have essential qualification like M tech. or PhD. for that you should clear the Gate exam To. Gate 2011 exam will conducted on 2nd Sunday of February every year that will be on 13th February 2010.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">JRF and NET :</span>In this test through one examination, merit list is prepared in two ways. The Science students which get the highest score in this test, get their name in the merit list. Some of these selected for "JRF" That means Junior Research Fellowship, and the rest are selected for National Elijibilite test the NET. Students selected for the JRF get scholarship for research, while Net qualified students are not eligible for scholarship. Students going to pass this test are eligible to post as lecturer or reader.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Examination Format:</span> The written test will be conducted in two stages and will be of 400 marks. There will be two question papers of 200-200 each. Two and half hours for each paper have been laid. The assessement of second paper will be done only of those candidates will be able to scored minimum qualifying marks prescribed by CSIR in the first paper.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Academic Qualifications:</span> General category candidates must posses a PG(Post Graduate) degree in Science subjects ie Chemical Science, Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Science, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences with at least 55% from a recognized university or institute.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Age Limit: </span>There is no restriction in the age limit for candidates who have the desire to obtain eligibility for LS mean that lecturers But for JRF the age limit is minimum 19 and maximum 28 years for general candidates, while for the SC, ST and disabled persons, there is provision of five-year exemption on Maximum age limit.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Preparation Strategy :</span> The first phase paper consists of objective type question related to Awareness of General Science, Aptitude of quantitative and scientific reasoning and computer-related questions. Do the deep study of NCERT XI and XII standard books of the Science study for its preparation. Objective type questions posed three type of questions before candidates. First - Simple, second -50-50(medium difficulty level) and third Lucky( Some hard one). Nearly in all tests there is a provision of negative marking. Therefore adopting the first two options can be effective, but adopting the third option is to lethal. To be successful in test it is requires to use only two options.<br /><br />You can easily can make twenty questions, If you are better prepared. When you start preparing the subject first of all note the important chapter. Include only those chapters in this list from which most questions were being asked every year. In this respect you can take help of seniors or coaching Institutes, If you like. Its often seen that due to qualifying of first paper students don't prepare seriously. To be successful in this test, you will have to prepare seriously for both the papers. The DRDO scientist Inmas Satish Chandra said "Its better to understand the type of question being asked by taking the last five years question." You can also download the previous year question papers from the internet.<br /><br />The second paper is related to that subject. These points determine merit lists. Since this is the PG level examination so from the topic you have done Masters, understanding of the subject and syllabus would be better. Now you just have to prepare taking exam in mind. The better strategy would be to study only authentic book. Then make brief notes and at the same time - read again & again. By adopting such a strategy, you'll be able to prepare better and will perform better in exams.Some notes are also available in the market If you like, it can also help.
