"system cannot find the specified file" This was the error message i got when i was trying to delete the folder "Kaspersky Lab" in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
Actually my anti virus trial period is over i was trying to install and use it again for next 30 days trial period. For this first i uninstall and delete all folders and registry value associated with it, i searched in my computer for the folder named Kaspersky Lab i successfully deleted all except one in location C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\
Whenever i try to delete i get the error message folder can not be deleted, then i try to rename it but result was same then i lookup inside the folder and then again in the folder... and i reached to a folder named www.yourfilehost.com and it contain a single file "xyz.SOL" deleting it also has the same message "the file also cannot be deleted"
Then i search for the solution of this problem and after a long time, trying many solution i was success full.. hurrreeeey
first let me tell you the procedures i followed
1. In this type of situation firstly i will try to execute the task in "Safe Mode" result same failed
then i reboot in normal mode
2. Try to delete the registry key with the same name failed.. failed
3. Then i tried to delete it with dos prompt using MS-DOS del command failed
DEL [/P] [/F] [/S] [/Q] [/A[[:]attributes]] names
ERASE [/P] [/F] [/S] [/Q] [/A[[:]attributes]] names
names Specifies a list of one or more files or directories. Wildcards may be used to delete multiple files. If a directory is specified, all files within the directory will be deleted.
/P Prompts for confirmation before deleting each file.
/F Force deleting of read-only files.
/S Delete specified files from all subdirectories.
/Q Quiet mode, do not ask if ok to delete on global wildcard
/A Selects files to delete based on attributes

it prompt me with the message C:\Documents Are you sure(Y/N)? Y(i choose Y and then error message)

it prompt me 5 times here is the snapshot
then i download and installed a registry Cleaner "EClea2_0.exe" and find the registry errors and delete all errors however i already tried the same procedure with CC cleaner(also a registry cleaner)after fixing that i go to the folder and right clicked and choose delete and finally i have done it
Although the folder "Kaspersky Lab" is not deleted but i successfully delete all 17 folder one into another and a single file "xyz.sol" in inner most folder
then i again search for errors with registry Cleaner "EClea2_0.exe" but i got nothing. I shutdown my system since i was too tired , tried all those prcedures many times in hope perhaps something will be happened
Next time when i power on my system thing first thing i have done was delete that remaing single folder and it was easily deleted
