JD(U) candidate and former Bihar chief minister Ramsunder Das defeated LJP supremo Ramvilas Paswan at Hajipur by a margin of 37,954 votes

LJP supremo Ramvilas Paswan lost to JD(U) candidate and former Bihar chief minister Ramsunder Das by 37,954 votes in Hajipur Lok Sabha seat.
