Tags: Trouble shooting, Reconfigure Airtel BroadBand Connection, Trouble shooting broad band connection, airtel broadband problem, airtel broadnband not working
Hello friends I took a Airtel broadband connection couple of days back. Today when i open my computer and try to open google.com i got the error message "Page cannot be displayed ". I restarted my computer and again The LAN icon shows that its connected but when i try to open a website it says "Page cannot be displayed". When I checked My Modem I found and only 3 out of four light is flashing (Data Led is not flashing)

So i Started Trouble shooting and I did following process

First: want to know that whether i am getting a valid IP address or not
for this

Go To: Start Menu=>Run=> Type cmd in this window and press Enter
then Type ipconfig /all and press Enter
this command will show your ip address/default gateway/ subnet mask/Dns server addres
if it is not showing valid ip address like for airtel it is 192.168.1.2 you are not connected to network pick up your phone and make a complain
(Usually When it happens your Wan led of your modem is not working means it is not connected to network)

Second: if it showing correctly
then Type: ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

and go to Your Browser menu and delete all temp. internet files, cookies, cash, browsing History
In Internet explorer goto Tools=> Internet Option=> and Clear History, Delete files, Clear History
In Mozila/netscape/Safari/opera goto Tools=> Clear Private data=> clear all private data except save passwords and Restart your Modem

Third ; if your connection is not working the check your Antivirus Firewall settings
sometimes your firewall block some services to prevent unauthorised excess so Disable your Firewall Option and now Try to open any site

Fourth: If after doing all mention above procedure your Connection still not working then try this last Router reconfigurations procedure

type 192.168.1.1 in your browser address bar
a Window Propmpt you for Adsl Router ID and Password
User ID: Admin
password: Password

Your Browser Will show your Device Info
on the left Check For WAN and click on it

Wide Area Network (WAN) Setup

Choose Add, Edit, or Remove to configure WAN interfaces.
Choose Save/Reboot to apply the changes and reboot the system.

VPI/VCI Service Protocol State Status
1/32 pppoe_1_32 PPPoE Enabled Up

Here State must be enabled and status must be down if you status is Down Click On save/Reboot Button just below this status
and after processing Check The wan Again for status and state (Fourth one is the solution of My problem I was getting valid ip, I was connected to Air tel network, But i am not receiving any data)

If after following all these procedure you still facing any problem make a comment here about your problem with your email id i will try to help you out
