German police take recourse of a vulture

Vulture German police could take recourse to a vulture for searching bodies. Police were take assistance of particularly trained Vulture "Sharlok" tied with GPS (Globus positioning system) try to find missing persons body at remote locations.

According to the police Vulture can discover much larger area than dogs. so the Vulture could prove effective in finding those bodies which could not be found to with the help of dogs.

While most of the birds depends on their eyes to find food and hunting, vultures can smell the stink of rotting flesh at height of 3000 feet. Sharlok has specifically trained to smell foul meatby his coach German Alonso .
